I didn't think much when I first saw this set. The box was different. But then I looked at the cards and was wowed by them. The layout and the design are great. The cards have a shine to them. Even the standard version. Great design. I have maybe 60 card decks from different companies and this one is in my top 5.
These are the most sophisticated thing I have. I don’t let anyone play Egyptian rat screw with this deck, but I feel like even if we did it could withstand the grimy hands of a bunch of highscoolers. We’re cool. That’s why I said “sCOOLers”

For the price, they are such a wonderful collectible. The colors are always beautiful and the edges as well. Can’t recommend this brand highly enough. These Astro cards were the perfect gift for my son who lives in Houston. He is both a Houston Astros fan and a fan of mid-century modern. Think “The Incredibles.” he told me he was going to use this set the next time his buddies come over to play cards.
