If you had walked into the store and bought these cards new in 1890-1900---which is what this deck is supposed to be---the cards would have been on white card stock and would have been really pretty. The gray tint ruined it for me. Such a waste of a good idea.

The letterpress work on the tuck case is deep and tactile, and the custom slate-colored theme provides a sophisticated, moody aesthetic that makes the traditional Tally-Ho "Circle Back" design feel entirely modern yet timeless.
If you are a fan of the Tally-Ho brand or a serious collector of Jackson Robinson’s work, this set is a non-negotiable must-have. It’s rare to find a project that successfully balances "venerable tradition" with "luxury innovation," but the Slate Tally-Ho Legacy series nails it.
This deck combines a few aspects of Jackson’s other table players to make another unique deck.
The tuck case an embossed and foiled beautifully with thick card stock. The inside is decorated with the crescent pattern found on the card artwork.
Cards are foiled beautifully, and card stock is slightly brown with the same hue and pip font as his Battle Axe deck.
Think of this deck as a step up table player deck. Card stock has the correct flexibility with clean smooth edges.

This deck filled a dream i had when I saw some of the original 1898 decks. The imagery is sharp and on point. Being an artist, designer and card player, This hit all 3. TY for making this. Top shelf material.
All of the legal tender cards that I’ve purchased are of awesome quality. I have a friend that was overseas and I sent them each a deck of the legal tender cards (US legal tender for him and Pound Sterling legal tender for her) and they were really surprised at the images on the card and the quality. Definitely look forward to more of the legal series from Jackson and the Kings Wild group!!
The art is amazing and the box is well priced for the quality and quantity. The card stock used also seems very nice. Love them!
Jackson chose such a beautiful purple color that goes with Crazy 8s perfectly! Really enjoyed this deck and highly recommend everyone to purchase.
